WORST COMPANY I EVER DEALT WITH!!!
One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with!! On 8/28 I called and requested a deferred payment for that month.
Ok. I was mailed a form to sign and to mail or fax back to them. I did not receive the letter until 9/13. On 9/14 and 9/15 I faxed back my signed copy.
On 9/16 I noticed my account has not changed. I called. It was a Saturday so customer service was not in. I spoke to someone else and was told that my time to file a deferment was closed and I could try again for a 2 month extension.
WHAT? I just got your *** letter and faxed it back the next day. So for more answers I call back on Monday. On 9/18 I was told that yes they did receive my fax on 9/14 and it takes 24-48 hrs to process and reflect on my account and it should show on my account by the end of 9/18 and if not to call back the next day.
Like I figured today 9/19 nothing on my account has changed. Very angry I called asking why my account is being ignored and people are not doing their job? Of course I was told “ we received your fax yesterday 9/18 and it take 24-48 hrs to process. WOW.
Full of *** and LIES!!!!!! All this company wants out of you is to make their customers upset and collect finance charges which is why the receive your paperwork but pretend they didn’t and keep making up excuses along the way. I am in the process of finding another lender.
One that cares about their customers. By the end of this week it will be a month since I have requested for a deferred payment and apparently it is very difficult for someone to press a button and process my request.

Credit ruined by phantom bill for old lease
Got locked out of my account and now everything is ***
Well this started because of a bank error. I had money in my account and for some reason the recurring payment never went through.
I contacted them only to hear that they would not refund the $29 fee that was charged to my account and that it would be an extra $7 fee to be able to get my account up to date over the phone. I had to do this over the phone because since the bank error I have been locked out of my own account and cannot make payments. They would not give me a reason for why I have been locked out but said that I should be able to make payments through the account again. So now month two comes and I am still locked out.
I looked at the recurring payment field and there was nothing listed. So I think they must have cancelled my recurring payments. I tried to call but this happened on a Friday and they aren't open on weekends. So I look online to see if there are other ways than going through the account that I can pay this bill.
I tried their automated system but that led me in circles. I did everything to be able to pay on the automated system and when you get to the end of the tree for it, it switches back to the main menu. So for their smallest fee of $3 I can be jerked around on a phone tree. So after that didn't work I had to go find a Western Union and do the payment through them which was another $10 fee but at this point I didn't care.
I just wanted to pay my car and be done with the situation. So then today I get an email saying that the recurring payment is active again and they are going to try and take this months payment. I still cannot get a hold of anyone at KMF. I ended up just calling my bank and telling them to block that payment since I cannot get a hold of anyone over at the KMF office.
They told me I should probably let them know but how? I literally have no other option than to mail them and then I won't know if they actually receive the mail or not.
They've been known to lie so why should I trust that they will get the mail I send, read it, and then help with the account? I will never EVER use this company again and I will make sure the word spreads so no one else will either.

Tired of messing with Kia Motors Finance
I have 2 vehicles financed w/them one is my vehicle the other is my sons in which i cosigned with him. Having only one income i have gotten a little behind with my payments but have been sending as much as possible at least every 2weeks.
On Aug. 4, 2017 i call to set up paynent arrangements as my husband is back to work & i can now afford to pay more each week. I was told that there was a repossesion order out for my vehicle & i would need to make a payment of at least $297 to have that order stopped. I paid the $297 on Aug.
5, on Aug.6 the recovery service was at my residence trying to recover the car. I showed him my reciept for my payment & begged him not to take my car. The gentleman having a heart said he would give me a couple days to get it cleared up. The very next morning he was at my place of emoloyment which resulted in my getting sent home w/o a half days pay & my getting written up for unprofessional business in the work place.
The next day the collection service called my work place 3 times after being told i was not able to take personal calls on company time which resulted in my getting written up 2 more times! On wed the 9th i called in to make the payment i had arranged to make however they applied the payment to the account i cosigned on with my son in error. I have called everyday since trying to get this cleared up & my payment applied to the correct account w/no resolve. They admit the error was on their end however since my sons account is in default they will not transfer my payment which leaves me in the position to lose my car the one that's being paid on.
I go to work everyday & i am attempting to get caught up but w/their mistake i am getting further behind & even though i have paid $497 to my account in the last week when my monthly payment is only $399 because of their error i am now in jeopardy of lising my car & they will not correct it!
How can you take soneobes money & apply it where ever you desire & it be okay? My car has damage all over it from the recovery company & as i stated ive lost pay & am on the *** of losing my job when i am trying to bring my account current.
Kia finance didn't work with my temporary financial hardship
After my car was repossed in Sept 2017 by Kia Finance, I was grateful that funds were loaned to me to get my car back by a caring individual. Due to a corrupt owner of a company I sadly chose to work for that company wasn't paying me properly. At the end of September...
The man on the phone pressured me to make a 125.00 payment. I was crying on the phone and he was laughing at me as he gathered more info. I asked him are you going to repossess my car and he said no. They repossessed my car.
Now I have to pay lot fees if KIA chooses to give me the car back. They lied and wouldn't work with my situation.

The customer service is awful. I signed up for an auto payment and for some strange reason the payment didn't go through.
2 days before the due date someone called me from Kia Finance and told me that I have to make a payment to avoid a late fee. I gave her my card number and she said they have to charge 15$ for making a payment over the phone. 2-3 days later I checked my account online and didn't see any payment posted. I entered my card info on the website AGAIN and this time the payment went through.
It was like 2 days after the due date. I called them and spend almost 90 minutes on the phone with 5-6 different reps and finally, I spoke with a manager and she said she'll sort it out and I am all good. 3 month later I received a notice from Credit Karma that my credit score has dropped! I checked it online and they have reported me for a late payment to the credit bureau!!!!
I couldn't belive this!! For 2 days (which was not my fault) they have reported me and my credit score has dropped 50 scores!!!!
My previous car was a lease, Kia, too but I will never work with them again after my current lease ends! This is not how you treat a customer who has been with you for 4 years and has never been late for a payment once!
Preferred solution: I want the report to the credit bureau to be erased from my history.

Bought a Soul in Sept 2016 in March 2017 it rcvd 4K worth of hail damage. Took to a KIA BODY SHOP, they did a horrible job, not only did they not fix all the damage they caused more.
Kia finance ~ well when the Soul repairs were supposedly done they snail mailed the check to the KIA Body shop. Who by the way would not release the Soul until they got paid by their own people. HMMMM should have been 1st clue! I had to rent a car to go to work because it took 7 days for the check to go from Atlanta GA to Greenwood SC.
I could have walked it there in less time! So now I am fighting with the finance folks to help me to get the repairs completed because the body shop is avoiding me and not returning my calls or not "in" when I stop by. Of course there is only one guy I can talk to at Kia and he is worthless.
OH the kicker this is what Kia finance stated my options are "Voluntary repossession of the Soul or keep on the body shop until they cave and fix the damages." WOW some customer service huh??!!!! Bet someone will notice when I stop making payments!!

I financed a new 2017 Sportage in June 2016 through Kia Finance. What a mistake.
I always try to pay off loans as fast as possible by making extra payments to principal. No where on their website can you stipulate that the extra money/payment is to go to Principal ONLY. Instead, they require that you call their customer 'NO service' two days later and request it be done retroactively. So up to 45 minutes on hold to speak to a representative and then, they still don't do it.
I have had to call back AT LEAST 2 more times and go over it again and again every single time I've made an extra payment. I actually gave up two months in a row as I don't have hours to explain something so simple EVERY TIME I MAKE EXTRA PAYMENTS!!!!! Instead they just keep pushing the payment date out further so they can keep charging interest on the higher balance. UGHHHH Most recently, on Jan 21, 2017 I made an extra payment online, called and spoke to cust.
serv. on 1/23/17 requested payment again be applied to principal ONLY. Not done by the 25th, called again and requested again. Given more excuses about holidays, being 'extra busy', they were 'behind schedule, please wait until Feb.
2nd and if not showing on-line by then, call back'. Guess what Kia Finance? I HAD TO CALL BACK AS IT STILL WASN'T SHOWING. The first representative I spoke to either couldn't understand what 'principal' was didn't care.
I told her to get me a supervisor to straighten this mess out. I was transferred to Mike, Supervisor ID # 94214. He was nice, (but everyone has been, they just haven't followed through in getting the money applied correctly) and said that he was 'escalating the request to the finance department' and stated that this 'normally doesn't happen'. I corrected him immediately as I told him to look at all of the payments that I've made since August 2016 and then read all of the notes in their computer showing how many times I had to call requesting the extra payments go to principal only.
Over 25 times in 6 months for 6 extra payments! THAT is how Kia Finance 'normally works', and I find it completely unacceptable. The amount of interest that they continue to keep may be small, but since I can't be the only person going through this I can imagine how each of these small amounts is adding up in extra interest for Kia Finance. On top of all of this, it's only because I've persisted in calling and asking and complaining, that Kia Finance has corrected the payments to principal only.
What about the people who are just fed up and don't pursue it?
I guess I might have to contact the Attorney General and have them look into Kia Finance's practices? At the very least, they are EXTREMELY SHADY regarding principal only payments!

Had a kia 2013 almost broke my arms
I really said everthing i could the first time about my horrible life threating experience i have with the kia pos twice i almost bit the bullet and twice the kia mechanics came after me for mkney the first time i paid them to change belts and a bulb with cost me 1895 the aecond time thwy swnt a bill to me house i told the mechanic he has a better chance of getting the money from his mother thwn he does me and as i said that i reminded him I ALMOST DIED i didnt say the mother thing in malice just fristration cause ibwas also denied a rental so i lost 2.5 weeks of work at a job i was making 40 an hr for national grid .... i had to beg for my job back i was fired but 40x60 1800 just in loss of work i demand every penny of that

Worst experience ever and horrible customer service to get title released from a buy out lease agreement
Purchased my car from a lease with another bank since we were moving due to military. Tried to take care of business before left state.
Kia will not let go of title! Faxed over odometer statement numerous times for them to say they never received it. Issue is taking over 2 months to resolve! Even new bank faxed over information for title to be releases.
Kia says they never received the information which is a lie! Currently living in new state and ona military base with expired tags for my car and unable to drive or register in new state. Will never do busy with them again.
Advice no one to ever do business with them either for financing. Go through your own bank!
Kia Finance sucks
I'm furious... I have tried for the past 3 months to pay my lease payment online.
I keep getting locked out of my account and when I call and talk to a representative during the daytime... I get THIS "the debt is the OWN line service....." Seriously ...I just typed that they admit that their online service "sucks".... and the line above is what it typed.. Their website is literally "auto-correctimg" what I type....
not voice correct..... Pissed consumer? You bet!!...... it literally keeps correcting me....
to either make me appear illiterate.....or WRONG about my "personal info" If Kia gives a *** about their reputation.... they'd better contact me... I LOVED my experience with the dealership where I leased my Kia....but since then? Un unh!!
I'm done.... I have never taken on a company before but I am going to now.... Now I'm supposed to fill out this questionnaire? COULD THEY MAKE IT ANY HARDER TO JUST PAY MY #@*&ING BILL?

Unpleasant experince with lease return
I leased a KIA SOUL and returned it 2 weeks early. The dealership in Valdosta GA didnt file the paperwork so i got hassled for a month about it.
I even recieved threatening letters from them. I did exactly what i was supposed to do. Car was extremely clean with me going over and beyond what wa required. They even had ME call dealership which was not my job to do.
I believe they shouldnt of hassled me and because of inconveniencing me should of at least knocked some of restocking fee off...but nope...and they want it paid within 2 weeks. Just not happy with way i was treated or what they wanted me to do because of the dealership making the mistake
Credit says earry termination but still have and pay current
They had i was a month behind I wasn't n repoed car. Paid alot to get back.
They said it was up to a group of people if i got it back or not. Got it my credit says several months behind. Are paid just not reported paid. So i call mad as can be.
I have credit for so called missed payment. To 3 months later was shown paid but bad not taken off. To the next month says closed early termination. I still have and pay.
Nobody will talk from credit. They said write a letter to a po box. I hate these bastards and going to go and seek attorney.
Credit was 710 now 590. 3% debt ratio no other accounts late ever.

Oh so it's funny that my grandma is dying of cancer and I am doing my best as a single mother to help out my family? I've had my car for two years and just needed one pass. Know more information about a person before your judge.
